"As a mom of three, I always look for family-friendly hotels that are clean, comfortable, and worth the price. Hotel Glenwood Springs had some positives, but overall it fell a bit short of our expectations. The exterior of the property is well-maintained and gives a good first impression. However, once inside, the hotel feels somewhat dated and in need of updates. Our suite was spacious enough for our family, but the bathroom was disappointing. The shower was outdated, and there was visible gunk built up in the corner, which made it feel less clean than it should have been. The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool. Our kids had a great time and looked forward to swimming each day, which helped make the trip enjoyable. The front desk staff were friendly, but they seemed fairly young and not particularly knowledgeable about some of the amenities and local offerings. When I asked about discounted tickets to Glenwood Hot Springs, I was told they were available through the hotel. However, the quoted prices were the exact same prices I had already found online, so there didn’t appear to be any actual discount. As for Glenwood Springs itself, I understand it’s a major tourist destination and that tourism drives the local economy. That said, we found many of the attractions and activities to be quite expensive for a family of five. While we enjoyed our visit, next time we may choose a different Colorado hot springs destination that offers a better value"
"It was comfy, clean, and a great location less than a mile from downtown. Beautiful view. However the noise from the floor above us was annoying, but it could just have been the couple ip there. Foot stomping."
"Property was great! Well maintained and pet friendly. Even though it was pet friendly never heard noise from a pet once. The quietest stay at a hotel we have ever had. Close to many atttractions!"
"Very clean, friendly and helpful staff! The condo was spacious and well maintained. My only suggestion would be to add mirrors to the bedrooms, as the only mirror was in the bathroom."
"The room waa clean and staff was helpful. The location is convenient and a short drive to every Glenwood attraction. The beds were not the worst but I found them to be far too firm. I had to go to Walmart and buy a mattress topper. The outdoor pool was not open despite being advertised as such on Expedia. The hotel breakfast leaves much to be desired and I'd say is a few steps below what you'd typically expect at an average hotel, but its walking distance from a great local breakfast diner."
