"I was very comfortable at Mid City Motel. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It is quiet & protected & within walking distance of shops, eateries & all the central facilities. It has covered parking off the main street which is great. The staff were so helpful & friendly & supportive. I will be staying here again on my next visit to Ballarat & happily recommend to others. "The hotel was beautifully renovated with many original fittings. It is in a great location for shopping and dining, with all the major stores within walking distance. The staff were very nice and replied promptly to some questions I had before check in. I was only there overnight and didn't get up in time for breakfast but the menu looked great. My only very minor negative comment would be that the bed was very creaky. I would definitely stay there again next time I visit Ballarat. "
