"After getting rerouted by the airline to LAX, I made a last minute reservation for an overnight stay through Expedia. The airline then notified me that they would provide a hotel voucher at a different hotel. I tried contacting Hyatt Place within an hour, no one answered after several tries. Finally, they answered and said I had to contact Expedia. I did and they had trouble getting through to the hotel as well. Days later, my request to waive the non-refundable cancellation was denied by the hotel, a request originally made within an hour of the reservation. Poor customer service, unreasonable response given the circumstance. I won't be staying at Hyatt in the future."
