"Property was clean. Room is very small but sufficient for a couple of people. It’s a bit uncommon some rooms are in the basement but it seems to be ok ( mine was). The street is very quiet and a bit dark at night but is one block away from a main avenue. Overall, solid no frills facility."
"Really nice hotel, great location. Staff were brilliant, could not be more helpful. The room was pretty good but couple of small things let it down, peeling paint in the bathroom, shower gel was empty, air con switched itself off after a while. Also carpet on stairs was really badly worn after first few flights. Minor stuff but stops it being a 5 star review."
"The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was really comfy, but there were a few small niggles that were experienced during the stay. The shower had a dual setup, either an overhead head or a handheld part, but the separator switch didn't work, meaning if you turned the shower on, water came out of both, no matter how much the selector was pressed in/out! The TV was controlled from an iPad, as is most of the room (lights, blinds etc), and worked fine for a while, but then one channel gave sound but no picture, and one channel stopped working fully. I then tried to cast my phone to the TV, following the instructions, and this worked for 10 mins, then went back to the original screen.
I travelled for work with a colleague, who had a separate room. When we were booking the room, we noticed on the "breakfast" option, it said "Breakfast for 2" as the option to tick or not. Rather than double this up, and as we were booking at the same time, only one of us selected this option, thinking that since it stated "Breakfast for 2" it would do what it said, however, upon going down to breakfast, the staff there said this was not the case, meaning one of us was unable to have breakfast!"
"Staff was very helpful asked if we could leave luggage as it wasn’t time to check in and they said rooms ready I’ll check you in very polite and friendly"
