"Although looking *slightly* longer in the tooth in a few areas, I feel this adds old-school charm. I do see the work being done, for example, on the corner facade... but hopefully not too much of a makeover as the entire stay was very classy and *too* modern would be a little bit of a disappointment. Proximity to the train station is particularly wonderful and as a visiting American I'm incredibly jealous of how well this setup works. I really do feel like I walked in the footsteps of the...

"Despite a drab exterior, the interior of the hotel is good. Our room was spacious and comfortable although the view from the window was of a blank wall.Staff were polite and helpful. The free breakfast was good and well run by staff.overall a pleasant stay and we would return."

"Very nice hotel but a little to hip for my taste. It is not warm or welcoming. You check yourself in at a computer and print your own key card. Not the greatest feeling after a long stressful day of travel. You control your room and basically your whole stay with an ipad. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast staff was extremely nice."

"It is a lovely hotel and very convenient with the parking and location. The room was comfy and a great size if a little dated in the bathroom. The leisure facilities were clean and worth a visit in the morning with great opening hours. There was a very strong smell of cannabis during our stay which was a bit off putting but otherwise a very pleasant stay. "

"My new favourite in Glasgow! Nicely located between the city centre and the ovo hydro which was ideal for our stay. Rooms are beautiful as is the rest of the hotel. The staff at reception, the bar and at breakfast could not have been more helpful and friendly. I only checked out a few hours ago and im looking to book my next stay."
