"Yes the air conditioning worked. There were good restaurants around that the staff guided us to, but we ate in our room because it was so nice and private and the staff brought in restaurant food for us that we ordered. We were able to walk to the museum and the pyramids were a short taxi ride away. They booked us an expert at Saqqara and he was the best. We also had a juccuzi in our room. GREAT hotel and staff. "

"Rooms were basic yet clean. But you are staying at the hotel for the amazing views of the pyramids from the rooms and their amazing roof top restaurant for breakfast. The rooftop patio is worth the stay alone. My only issue was that the online booking forums so a free 24 hour airport shuttle that is only available if you stay 2 nights. We tried booking and paying for the shuttle and no one confirmed and no one showed up. They couldn't find us a shuttle back to the airport either so we wound up using Careem. So just don't bank on the shuttle like we did."
