"Personnellement, je suis tombé amoureux de cet endroit et j’aurais presque pu m’y installer pour y vivre. La maison est isolée au milieu de la nature, ce qui est en principe un véritable atout. Malheureusement, le repos s’est avéré difficile : à proximité de la maison (je ne suis pas certain de la distance exacte, mais cela semblait se situer à une vingtaine de mètres de la fenêtre) se trouve un enclos abritant une dizaine de chiens. Top Gioia del Colle Hotel Reviews

IL LEON D'ORO HOTEL BARI – BY FARACE HOTELS

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed one night after a late arrival at Bari airport. The hotel was perfect. Quiet room. Dark curtains. Breakfast was good but the small up charge for an a la carte breakfast was well worth it."

JR Hotels Bari Grande Albergo delle Nazioni

10/10 Excellent

"Traveled with a group of 10. The hotel was so accommodating to us on different things. They had a private event in their rooftop bar and accommodated us elsewhere. They helped us get transportation to sightseeing places. They just couldn’t do enough for us. One in the group hurt her knee and they had ice packs ready for her to ice her knee daily. Very nice hotel Great location too"

Locanda di San Martino Hotel & Termae Romanae

10/10 Excellent

"Such a special hotel in one of the most gorgeous cities we’ve ever visited. Staying in a hotel built right into the cave made our whole experience in Matera feel even more incredible. Everything about it was breathtaking and unique, and it was definitely worth the stay. The spa in the basement was also such a nice bonus — especially after walking up and down all those hills! We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back."

Sextantio Le Grotte Della Civita

10/10 Excellent

"Sextantio Le Grotte della Civita was one of the most memorable stays of our entire Italy trip. Staying in a beautifully restored historic cave in the heart of Matera was such a unique and magical experience. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and full of character, while still being very comfortable. The staff were absolutely wonderful—warm, friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. Breakfast was also fantastic, with fresh local food and excellent service. The location in the Sassi is incredible, and simply stepping outside the hotel feels like stepping back in time. More than just a hotel, Sextantio really feels like part of the Matera experience. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend it!"
