"The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The location is good - towards one end of the main strip - so close enough fire easy access to all the restaurants etc but far enough away to avoid the night club noise. Sadly the hotel has suffered earthquake damage. This had totally destroyed the main reception, bar and restaurant. The cottage we stayed in also had evidence of earthquake damage (eg cracks). We only stayed there one night because of this."

"This is one of the best hotels we have ever been to 😃 Perfect location with the beach next to the hotel We had room with sea view - just amazing! Perfect for couples. Very minor comments, but give them for further perfection: WiFi in the room didn’t work however, but main WiFi partly in reach Good but small breakfast portion. Water dispenser could be preferred over bottles in the room. "
