"NO TATTOOS. Is the first sign you see when checking in. Perhaps if you have a small discrete tattoo, they will still permit you to use their hot-baths on site. Ideal for couples, seniors, less so for families with children. The beds were quite hard. The in-room food service was very good, as was the breakfast buffet. Both indoor and outdoor onsen was very nice, with the outdoor one having a nice view of Gifu Castle. "

The onsite restaurants we booked out in advance so we had dinner at the ‘bar’ however this did not spoil the food, it was exceptional. The staff even though didn’t speak any English were very pleasant and tried to help in every way. "

"Everything feels good. The only downside is that the room only has heating. Because the weather was warmer when we checked in, the room temperature felt a little hot. Although everything is good, the only pity is that there is no way to adjust the temperature in the room.
