"Well once I'd found the place, Hotels.com directions via linked map were incorrect and took me to the wrong location via a logging track up another mountainside some 20km away, it was lovely. "Great place to stay, just off the village square, right next to the Mont Blanc Hotel, and two minutes walk from Le Chamois Télécabine. A quiet, calm and convenient location - especially for getting on the first lifts. Could do with refreshing the cutlery and crockery as a couple of items missing, but that is the worst it gets. The only word of warning, make sure you order the bedding and towels beforehand as they are not included in the base price. "

"To say that the photographs of the apartment were misleading would be a misuse of the term. Totally mis-representational would be more appropriate (it was a completely different space). On arrival, there was no-one there to give us keys and no-one answered the phone when we tried repeatedly to call. "The hotel manager and front desk representative were extremely helpful to us in resolving an issue related to our reservation. The hotel is located just down the street from the train station, in the old town. This was very convenient for us, as we did not rent a car. The hotel rooms are air conditioned. For the most part it was comfortable, but it did get warm while we were trying to sleep and I think it’s because of the comforter that is used. All over in France in the beds, instead of having a top sheet and a blanket or comforter, there is only a bottom sheet and a comforter. Having the ability to only cover with a top sheet is great when the weather is hot. We bought the breakfast for 14€ daily, and it is a good value. The breakfast had a wide variety and get selection of fruit and cheese. There is also the ability to boil eggs, which was an added bonus. Based on our experience we would stay here again, and highly recommend it."
