This was my second stay for a few days at Round Top. Last time it was much cleaner. The elevator, stairs and hallways need a deep clean. The room was ok but there was hair in the shower that wasn’t mine! I’ll go elsewhere for future trips

We booked this location as it was new. It is a decent location just needs to be finished inside and cleaned and maintained as it appears rough already. The hallway and elevator were not clean and fresh every window or surface appears to still be in a construction state. Not that we expected too much from a Motel 6.. it was far from what we thought we would be getting. We stayed in a handicap accessibility room and found the bathroom to be the least bit accessible. The install of the shower and water barrier is non existent and water goes everywhere, there was mold and overall feel of the space was limiting. There was no toilet paper holder so it was placed on the counter. Bed, Blankets and pillows were lacking was not able to get comfortable. Floors in room were not clean 😕 very disappointed overall.

Room was clean but extremely small. Cramped!! Photos online are deceiving! 2 ft on each side of bed. Not worth the money at all! We paid 1 1/2 times mire than we usually do. Not worth the $ Bathroom floors/ corners dirt, hair. Ice machine only on first floor. Floors in the hallways and the elevator are filthy. Looks as if the elevator walls and hall windows have been wiped with dirty water. Mud spots everywhere. We stayed 2 nights, same spots everyday! No pride taken in the facility at all! And it shows. I will not stay or recommend this establishment!

From the reviews we thought this place would be fine for a one night stay but it was bad. We had two rooms and both were nasty. Blood and urian stains on the bed along with hair. Dirty hand prints on the walls and head board. Leak stain coming down from stove vent with mold. I would say more than 90% of this hotel is occupied by oil field workers. There is dirt and oil from crew members walking from the entrance of the hotel to all the rooms. The front desk staff gentleman was super nice and apologetic for what we had walked into. He refunded us.

This room was horribly cleaned dirty gritty floor refrigerator was filthy the sheets were clean but stained the curtains were tattered very and don’t get me started on the bathroom. There was a moment of thanks for the AC. Not my first time but probably my last

The hotel had minimal amenities but it was very clean and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. They had sausage biscuits and some other frozen breakfast stuff, but no continental breakfast. I would definitely be more than willing to stay there again.

The A/C was off when we arrived so it was 90 degrees in the room. Because of no ventilation the room had a strong musty smell that never went away. And it appeared the bed linens had not been changed prior to our stay.

We have yearly visits and we were looking for a hotel that could ensure that rooms were available when they were reserved. Unfortunately that didn’t happen for me. I reserved and paid for a room just to find out a week before our trip that my reservation was canceled for some sort of maintenance. I made choice to stay with Studio 6 and even with a face to face there was no apology.

Me and my family arrived at 1 pm a little earlier than expected and they told us our rooms would be ready at 2. We went and ran some errands and came back at 2 and they let us check into one of our rooms but the other still needed 10 more minutes to be cleaned. Mind you by this time they had already assigned us a room key. We waited around 10 minutes, nothing, those 10 minutes turned into an hour and half. We were not able to go up to our room till 3:40 pm. When we approached the room the housekeeper was still cleaning and she said it would be about 10 more minutes. We waited in the hallway. We walked into the room and there was still trash on the floors and food on a chair from the previous occupants. Room was nice other than those discrepancies. Also if you plan on staying make sure you bring your own blankets, the blankets on the bed are so thin and not comfortable whatsoever.

We arrived an hour after the 3:00pm check in time but the room they reserved for us still hadn’t been cleaned. Since we had food for an event with us, we were given a different room which was very nice and clean. The staff member was helpful when the door card key didn’t work to the new room and quickly reprogrammed it. The luggage cart’s top that was installed upside down from my previous visit 2 weeks earlier and prevents guests from having a place to put their hanging clothes had not been fixed and the 2 large unopened boxes labeled “table “ were still on the floor of the hotel lobby near the front desk. The floor of the lobby and rug at the entrance are not swept often so the floor is quite dirty. Though I mentioned this to the staff at my last visit they still aren’t keeping the front lobby floor clean. The only amenities they have are ice and vending machines.
