"If you’re looking to stay right in the heart of downtown, this is a great spot. You’re surrounded by shops, cafés, and restaurants, and the city has such a great vibe. Getting around is super easy too, with buses practically at your doorstep. The hotel was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, and our room on the 7th floor was comfortable overall. The only downsides were the tiny bathroom, the windows that barely opened (one was stuck slightly open), and the room was extremely humid. The vents also seemed to let in quite a bit of lint and dust, which wasn’t ideal, and I ended up developing a rash during our stay. That said, we still really enjoyed our time here, and I’d happily book this hotel again if I was staying downtown."

"Quirky, clean, spacious well appointed rooms. Pool is outdoor and heated, great on a rainy afternoon. Staff very friendly and helpful. Fruit and cookies at front desk much appreciated. Decor a bit tired but clean. Would have liked real cups/glasses rather than disposable. The biggest disappointment was the so called included breakfast, a voucher for Tim Hortons down the street and that Tim Hortons was awful. The food there was cold both mornings and a regular informed us it's always cold. Would prefer the hotel lower the price $15/room and not offer breakfast. Coffee maker in room was great and there is a BBQ available for guests to use. Location okay, across hwy from shopping centre and walking distance to good pub."

"Beautiful hotel - the gardens and the interiors are all beautiful! We had great weather while we were there over July 1 so we also experienced the great fireworks over the harbour . The staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed cocktails and light snacks when we first arrived from the ferry. The hotel is well situated as we took the city bus (#70) from the ferry and it stopped in front. We also took the bus #75 to visit Butchard Gardens ($6 round trip!) It is on a great street for shopping and many different restaurants. We found fun places to watch the FIFA World Cup games. The hotel has a beautiful high tea which was popular while we were there. It is also expensive. There is a lovely high tea at the Butchard Gardens which is less expensive. Our room was small - private as it is towards the back of the hotel. The bathroom was especially small with little room to move around. It was a small square shower stall across from the toilet. Most upsetting was an unexpected small ledge down from the bathroom to where the bed and sofa bed were. It was so sudden that caught me by surprise - even in daylight."

"We really like the cleanliness and the room is big. Our puppy was so happy of the big window with the view. The staffs were so nice and helpful, the hotel is so conveniently located to the beautiful places we wanna explore. We had an excellent experience, I will highly recommend it to friends and family.
