Extremely clean, modern apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, providing everything needed for my stay. It’s located close to Eastern Beach and only a short walk to the beautiful Catalan Bay and the quiet eastern side of the Rock. Main Street, the marina, airport and border are also within walking distance. There’s also a bus stop outside the apartment, making it an ideal location.

Great location by the beach and in front of the Rock. Beach bars were near and so were bus lines that were very simple to use. The apartment had everything we needed! And the view is gorgeous.

Very spacious clean apartment, parking was a little of a hassle, we had to park in a parking garage a ways away. They have parking right there but it wasn’t offered to us and idk why?

Lovely apartment v close to the airport. Good communication with owner. Nice touch leaving all the necessities like salt pepper and even clothes washing gel. Bed was tad soft for us but no big deal. Restaurant downstairs not bad. Buses to town v close by. Apartment is a tad distant from town but buses frequently go by. Lovely beach across the road. Would recommend

Miss communication

The package was very well delivered, but I was told by Hotels.com that we could use the pool but not the Spa as that was extra. The Spa said that it is all in the same place and that we Would have to pay £20 each to use the pool as nothing would stop us from using the Spa. The rooms were lovely and well equipped. The cleanliness was perfect. I definitely recommend and would stay here again. Easy route into town, beaches and attractions.

This was a great location to explore Gibraltar from. Walter the owner/manager was 5* with his communication and willingness to help/inform us. The property was spotless and had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. For a single person/couple look no further for the perfect accommodation.

Excellent property to stay at

Amazing apartment. Had everything you would need in it 'to live'. Nice view from the balcony too! Location is a short walk from both the airport and the town and just across the road from the beach. Host was excellent in communicating whether that be with checking in/out or any general queries.

Short Gib trip

E1 Residences is peefectly located and is a short walk to the bars and restaurants in Gibraltar. The apartment is well equiped with everything you need and Walter was excellent at communicating the details for check in etc.

Quite a welcome respite

This is a lovely property—easy to get to, very comfortable and clean. After a long day on the road, the hot shower and good night’s sleep was so welcome! We had clear instructions, no issues whatever, and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much!

A lovely apartment - recommended

Walter's apartment is great. Very modern, well equipped and in an excellent building. Communication with Walter was timely and effective. The apartment was generally very clean, although we did have to wash some glassware, dishes and cutlery prior to use, and the floor could have used a better sweep. The apartment doesn't have much sea view although it is quite well located. Close to the beaches, 5 minutes walk from a small grocery store and just over a 1 km walk from Casemates Square and the old town. We enjoyed our 3 nights here and recommend it to others.

Couldn’t find one fault!

Could not find one thing to negatively say about the property. It was like home from home, a clean, inviting space that had everything you could need for a stay. I had some technical issues figuring out how to use the washing machine but with trial and error, got there in the end and was refreshing to bring home washed laundry! One thing that would have been nice would have been a bottle of water for a coffee/drink when we got to the apartment as we were on the late flight and the shop close to the block was shut by the time we arrived. The communication with Walter was absolutely brilliant and gaining access to the property was a breeze. Will definitely be returning when we visit family in Gibraltar.

Room was great and the building is well kept.Our host gave very detailed instructions which made check-in effortless. It poured rain in the evening so we wound up having dinner in the lobby restaurant and it was good. It's a nice 10 minute or so walk to the Casemetes square area and there are city busses that go along Devils Tower road so we took one back after our 4 hour walkabout. Gibraltar is beautiful and we may have to go back to do a bit more exploring. The drive through the Sierra Nevada mountains is very exciting and scenic. We parked our car right at the airport on the Spain side and walked across which took about 20 minutes to clear passport control etc. Very easy

Lovely apartment with all amenities necessary

Lovely apartment with all the amenities necessary, and in a good location close to buses. It took me a while to find the place though, as the address given on the booking details is not the same as the address of the apartment. I think rather it's the owner's own address, as I ended up outside a completely different apartment block, thankfully not too far away. Details of how to access the apartment were only sent through on the morning of arrival, and as I didn't have access to wifi until I got there, this meant a slightly awkward conversation with the concierge (who was very friendly and helpful). Furthermore, a little guidance as to where things are in the apartment and how to switch things on would also be useful. I didn't find the clothes-horse until I ventured out on to the balcony and found another cupboard out there. I couldn't work out why the microwave wouldn't turn on until I found a load of switches around the corner for all the appliances. And one of the lamps by the TV just isn't working at all (it might need a bulb change). However, once you work all these things out, the apartment is great! Having a washing machine was definitely a welcome addition as I was between trips and needed to do a lot of washing! Gibraltar was very interesting to visit, like having my home town in a hot country, but with a lot more historical landmarks, steep hills and monkeys. Now that I know how things work in the apartment, I'll definitely consider staying here again.

This is a flat with fully equipped kitchen (and utensils), a sofa, TV, balcony, large bathroom and a double bed. Conveniently located to the airport (15 minutes by foot), to the beach (2 minutes) or to the old town (20 minutes), it is a good choice for two travellers. The host was very helpful and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The flat is in E1 building which offers a Spa and at the ground floor there is a small café and snack bar.
