"A little tired on the outside but immaculate inside. Exceptionally clean throughout the hotel. Room was a decent size and modern with plenty of storage space. We were lucky to have a side sea view room which was lovely. Staff very friendly, although English not widely spoken. Plenty of restaurants nearby which were all good value and right on a lovely sandy beach."

"Very large resort; very clean and many sitting areas by the beach the bar etc.; nightly shows with music; excellent buffet breakfast; large and clean beach ; need water shoes. Good size and renovated rooms ,Staff are very professional and very helpful; 10 minute walk from bus terminal and 20 minute walk to beach promenade. Many restaurants close by. Very pleasant vacation,"

Hotel Caesar Palace

"I was worried by the previous reviews but need not have been! Food was excellent - both breakfast and evening meals. Didn’t try lunch as we were HB. Always a great choice and really tasty. There was also fresh juice! Yes hotel rooms are slightly dated but it is a traditional hotel with a lot of dark panelling and elsewhere it was well kept and was really clean. Pool area was great and enjoyed the daily aqua. Water temp lovely. Open air entertainment with a pianist and singer, with lots of people dancing. Lovely cocktails. Shuttle bus to the beach was great, as well as easy access to local buses from just outside. Tip - Wouldn’t walk from Alacantra station as we did after coming from the airport - there is no pavement on a fast and busy road with sharp turnings and buses that come whizzing down. We got the public bus to Taormina and the public bus back to the airport from near the hotel beach in Recanti. We had an excellent holiday."
