"I stayed here 5 days and was smitten from the first moment. The decor may not be everyone's taste and may seem a little OTT but the rooms are of generous size, very comfortably furnished and the location is very quiet. The staff are discrete and very obliging, they serve excellent food more or less to your wishes. It is near the airport, in fact 15 minutes walking distance and on the edge of town. Few flaws of this property- this property is in a remote location, deep inside the village. Few rooms, particularly the nearest rooms to the office at the ground floor and the one at the top floor, smelled terrible. Not sure if the smell was related to the cleaning supplies used or the old wood furniture or unwashed area rugs in the room. "

"My husband and I were only staying for one night on our way from Todra Gorge to Ait Ben Haddou. The last 4km or so leading to the hotel is a dirt track (not the fault of the hotel). The hotel itself is a quirky little oasis that gives off a very peaceful air and is perfect for relaxing for a day. We had booked the Atlas Suite with a rooftop terrace. Unfortunately, that room was already taken when we arrived and they gave us the Nakhla Suite which was on the ground floor with its own little garden/seating area. We were really tired and couldn’t be bothered arguing as we were only staying one night anyway. The accommodation was absolutely fine; however, the safe didn’t have a key, no coffee/tea-making facilities and only a very short supply of hot water. The walls are very thin and the toilet is child-size but the wifi was good and mosquito screens on all the windows meant that we did not have to use the A/C and could enjoy the cool night-air instead. There is a beautiful common terrace from which to watch the sunset and breakfast/dinner is eaten in the garden which is visited by friendly peacocks. The quality of the food is excellent. We really enjoyed our dinner of chicken tajine with semolina and the friendly (if very relaxed) service at dinner; breakfast, too, had a lovely spread albeit again, at a very relaxed tempo. In short, a great place to chill between destinations."

Each room is a beautifully themed "set"—we stayed in the Kundun suite, and the attention to detail was breathtaking. It felt authentic, luxurious, and wonderfully kitsch all at once. The Service: The staff, especially Omar, deserve a standing ovation. They treat every guest like a VIP. Whether it was the attentive service at breakfast or the helpful tips for navigating the city, the hospitality was warm, genuine, and professional. The Food: Breakfast by the pool was a highlight of our mornings. Fresh, traditional Moroccan pastries and perfectly made omelets served in a serene garden setting. We also dined at their restaurant, Out of Africa, which offered a delicious fusion of flavors that rivaled any high-end spot in town.
