"Needed to be close to airport for early departure. There is a 5 min walking bridge to/from hotel which is great. Hotel is ideal, nice, and well kept. Restaurant by the pool was enjoyable."

"This was a short overnight between planes so did not stay for breakfast. Extremely convenient to Cairo airport e.g. 5 minutes and shuttle is every half hour and they provide a system to meet outside the terminal. the staff was very responsive to emails and questions. Would recommend without concern if an airport location is needed. "

"Room had bad annoying cigarette smell , only one towel in toilet, carpet smells , very narrow corridors, small windows ( very dirty windows)."

"Excellent value stay, I felt really safe here. I’m glad that there are locked doors at every floor. I ordered lunch and dinner which is really convenient in this chaotic city. I suggest coming for grand Egyptian museum and pyramids for two days only. Cairo has 16th century vibe with a lot of honking cars around"

"Fantastic! We loved our stay at the Renaissance. We felt secure and well looked after by all the staff. It’s almost an entire resort in itself with several restaurants and bars. All the food was excellent. The pool area was well attended and clean but not crowded. There was an abundance of staff on hand ready to assist and serve at all times. Our room was cleaned spotless every day beyond expectations. We will be back."

"Our stay was room only for a week, the room was spacious, all amenities available including tea and coffee facilities, fridge and a safe. Iron and hairdryer. Water bottles was left every morning when room was cleaned. There is a roof pool and seating area but unfortunately the pool was very cold to swim, not heated in May. Staff everywhere helpful and polite. Security at front of hotel and location great with great shops around "

"Hotel was very clean and nice. Breakfast was big and quite delicious. The area leaves a lot to be desired though. Hardly the hotels fault but I probably wouldn't go for a stroll to see what I could find locally..."
