"Great stay. Overlooking the bay and sea. Railway noise insignificant despite overlooking the line . No road noise despite being on SH1. Accidentally left items behind- very helpful hosts solved the problem. Great location walking to beach by and town. Highly recommend."

"Single-glazed windows right on SH1 meant I could hear every truck throughout the night. Terrible sleep! Also, the walls were thin so I could also hear the snorer next door. The shower was terrible... I could go on. However, I find in these situations that the manager is not the owner, and so has no ability to upgrade the property. The owner takes their lease payments and the manager apologises on their behalf. The manager of this property was very efficient and friendly. "

"Amazing farm stay in a beautiful traditional property which had been lovingly restored and retained so many lovely features. We loved the open fire and wood burning stove which added to the experience. The location was perfect for our journey from Queenstown to Christchurch. The welcome basket full of local products for breakfast/snacks was a lovely surprise and a great touch - we particularly enjoyed the homemade cookies! Thank you for a lovely memorable stay.
