"This was a complete mess. To start, they forgot about our reservation and had to put us in a temporary room for two days. During this time, there was a blackout that no one thought to update us on. "The term Luxury cottage is an insult. The pictures are very misleading.This place is so run down. The staff you can tell is trying hard but obviously the owner cares nothing about customer service or being honest. Our "Luxury cottage" had no microwave, no satellite TV and the kitchen and living room were exposed to heat as there are no windows only loose screening that let lots of bugs in. The couch and beds sit on concrete reminiscent of city jail. I realize this property is in the tropics but...

"We had a wonderful stay at Swahili Beach Resort! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, making our stay very comfortable. A special thank you to Edna, who was especially helpful during check-in. She made sure our family of four was assigned to rooms next to each other, which made things so much easier for us. She also kindly arranged a late check-out to accommodate our late flight—something we really appreciated. Overall, excellent service, clean rooms, and a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!"
