"This was really a boarding house. I was given my one towel when checking in. There was no TP or soap of any kind. It looked as though there was one employee, and when she was done, good luck getting any help. And there were no female guests, just a bunch of young men. No mention of a wifi password, but since I only speak English and the host spoke a language that was not German, I suspect getting a password would have been futile. But, the spartan room was clean and in good condition."

"The location was in a nice area of the city with a view, parking was easy on site, the room was clean, shower was great with enough water pressure, breakfast was adequate and very convenient, beds were firm but okay and pillows were almost flat (just the style/design), there is a fridge but no microwave...overall it was a good stay and I would stay here again. I really appreciated the uniqueness of the property and the excellent fresh breakfast. We had issues at every other hotel we booked so it was really nice to have such a good experience here after the disastrous week! If I ever make it back to GroßKarlBach I will be booking again. 💖"
