Gatlinburg hotel rooms a the Great Wolf Lodge

"The only thing I was not happy with was PAYING $15 per day do parking and it was their parking lot attached to the hotel !! "

"The check-in staff, pool and location are really the only reasons this even got a 2 star review. Our room was clean, however, the paint was peeling off the walls and ceilings, the window curtains wouldn't close, the bathroom had to climb over the toilette in order to close the bathroom door because the door barley cleared the toilette when you opened it, so cramped. The bed felt like sleeping on a solid haybale covered in sheets and the pillows felt like a solid laundry sack - so uncomfortable. And lets not forget to mention how LOUD the hotel is, they have no sound proofing! Our room was right outside the elevator and starting at 6am people waiting for it carrying on conversations at full volume, you would have sworn they were actually in our room talking, then the drunks at midnight from the masonic motorcycle men's group there, hanging out drinking and smoking in a tent in the parking lot all day stumbling to their rooms with booming voices. They left beer cans and trash in the parking lot, this is not a family friendly crowd. Our room had a shared door to the room beside us, and again no soundproofing we could hear their conversations clear as day and they had a baby who was screaming at 2am and sounded like it was directly in our room. Definitely would not stay again, especially for what we paid. Not sure how it got such high reviews."

"Just don't. This place has run down so much. We stayed here for nostalgia reasons but never again. Everything is so run down. Water stains all over the room. Piece of metal sticking up near fireplace causing a trip hazard. Fireplace didn't work. Elevators don't work. Just demolish it. "

"The girl at the front desk did not have a clue on how to check people in. I requested a handicap accessible room when I did my reservation. We did not get a handicap accessible room even though she told me she would find us one. On my second day, my room key did not work. I stood in line at the desk while she tried to check other people in for a long time she had no clue on how to find people’s reservations. The breakfast was cold on the first morning and on the second morning the little muffins were not filled. Our TV did not work, but the maintenance man gave us a new one."
