"Good location, very clean, friendly staff, waffles for breakfast-unfortunately they ran out of butter this morning."

"This was misleading advertising on Hotels.com. I selected a tent with 2 queen beds and a bunk bed for about R1700. Just before we arrived I got a call from the hosts and let them know that 2 friends would arrive 30 minutes before us. I was told that I would have to pay an additional R790 for them because they charge extra each person over 2. This was not made clear on the app. This accommodation was not worth over R2,500 for the night. Unhappy guests who feel ripped off."

"What an incredible experience at Alkantmooi!! From the first contact we had at the reception with the friendly and helpful staff, to the impeccably neat and modern room, we absolutely LOVED our night here! "Superlative and ultimate calm resting place for those whio need a base in Pleetenberg region, just off N2 en route to Tstiskama. Excellent clean facilities- swimming pool, kitchen, lounge, bbq and of course rooms. The view over the bay is beautiful and has its own private walkway to the lagoon. Its located within a secure enclosed golf course. However the icing on the cake is the owner Kasia, who shows unbelievable kindness, care and attention, as she ensures you arrive safely and then will...

"Check-in and reception staff were very accommodating. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean with a great attention to detail. The bed and bed linen were extremely comfortable. "Absolutely fantastic stay with our 1 year old. The location is excellent, nice and secluded surrounded by breathtaking scenery and extensive lawns. Short drive to the local attractions. The food was excellent and the staff could not have been more welcoming providing flawless service. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite which is perfect for families for a separate bedroom for children. "
