"We had a wondeful stay in the apartment called "Falanghina" just off of the Ponte Vecchio. You can't beat the location. The apartment had all the main amenities we needed and was really great value for the price. You do need to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs (It's not unusual for European buildings this old to not have elevators.) So be sure to plan for that. "

"We stayed in the room for three nights. The photographs look much better than the actual room. Before our arrival we got confusing messages from three different numbers regarding our check in. A lady met us outside the property and demanded 50 euros cleaning fee, despite no mention of this anywhere. She also over charged us the city tax. We had to pay cash, no receipt. At the end the room was so expensive that we could have stayed in a bigger nicer place. The wifi did not work properly and...

"AC not working during extremely hot and humid weather, despite apartment being advertised as having AC. Host repeatedly threatened over WhatsApp that we would have to leave if we didn’t pay in cash the tax and cleaning fee despite us saying we would pay after the AC was fixed. Then, he deleted the messages once hotels.com got involved. We left windows open to cool apartment down overnight and then were bitten everywhere by mosquitoes. Terrible experience. Would not recommend this apartment...

"The villa was nice, beautiful scenery. A bit cold the days we were there, this location is better when sunny and warm. Absolutely must have a car, because taxi was expensive and not easy to get up there. Front desk/reception guy was rude and made faces- not the most friendly staff."
