DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Galveston Beach
The staff was amazing. I arrived after an early flight so my room wasn’t ready. When my room was ready the front desk clerk found me at the beach bar. 😁. On top on that I got a room upgrade with a balcony beach side. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wingate by Wyndham Galveston Beachfront at the Seawall
This is a basic, older motel. Set your expectations accordingly. But it's in an excellent beach-front location close to historic east-end Galveston. It was not perfectly clean, but still okay. Breakfast options were limited. The staff was very accommodating. The area felt safe and was walkable.
