2/10 Terrible

"The place was run down. I came in late and felt unsafe. Things were broken everywhere. I am pretty sure that criminal activity was taking place there. I left after the first night and asked for a refund."

"Our ac was not working the first night and it was about 80 degrees in the room. They sent someone up and he had it working and blowing cold in about 20 minutes. Rooms were pretty clean but ours had a musty mildew smell when you opened the door. Room service staff was very nice and prompt. Food was pretty good. Pools were nice. Pleasant experience overall and was nice to be so close to the water park and Moody Gardens."

"Rooms are old and need updated. Shower ceiling is moldy and paint is peeling off the walls. Toilet would not flush and 1 ply toilet paper is frankly unacceptable. Walls are paper thin and rooms are adjoining so you can hear everything from the next room over. Convenient location but extremely overpriced for a motel 6 type experience. Pictures are heavily edited and do not match the actual look and feel. Breakfast was good and appreciated."

"0/5 do not recommend. They put you in a room without a working A/C and then refuse to switch your room and give you a refund. Their solution? You leave, suck it up without an A/C or if you keep complaining or call them stupid they will call the police. The night auditor and general manager deserve to be fired. How do you put a pregnant woman, a diabetic elderly woman, and 4 small children in a room without A/C? Horrible. Don’t book here. Read reviews. We’re not the first to experience this."
