The Galleria Umberto I is located in the east of Naples, opposite the famous San Caro Theatre, an area known for its architecture and cultural pursuits. It was constructed between 1887 and 1891 with the aim of creating a cultural and public meeting space for everyone to enjoy. The building was named after King Umberto I who reigned at the time of its construction.
