"This is a gem of a place - outstanding service, very clean room and bathroom. The room is small but very comfortable. Nice touch that they had turned on the AC well before my arrival, so the room was cool. The breakfast was exceptional with a variety of options, to include tasty local fruits.
And the price was unbeatable for what I received in return. I wished I had time to stay another night- alas, this was not within my travel itinerary. "

There was a complex device for showers that did not work properly and flooded the bathroom. The towels had seen better days. There was no TV. The room was not serviced in the three days I stayed in Galle. On the positive side, the location on Church St was excellent, the AC and fan both worked, there was a small fridge, and there was a pleasant balcony with chairs. The cost was about the same as the Ramada in Colombo, but there was no comparison in terms of comfort or amenities. I had completely the wrong impression of this very small hotel from the Expedia description."
