A huge thank you to Kat for making our last minute, one night stay a truly memorable one. This hotel was my favorite of our journey through Scotland and I think far outshines others in the same quality and price category. We cannot wait to return."

"It’s an interesting and quirky place, it’s dated in decor etc so don’t get too excited if you are given a suite. Staff were trying their best and seemed new to the industry and hopefully in time they will get the service and service times to a better standard. Unfortunately the morning shower was a no go as there was no hot water, mustn’t of got up early enough!!!! Normally I would bring this up at the time but I did feel for the staff who seemed rushed off their feet at a time"

"The room was wonderful, with a lovely view; it was in the lodge, so a bit of a walk to the restaurant. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant; we enjoyed our food very much, especially the seeded rolls. (We were disappointed that the rolls weren't available at breakfast.)"
