"My husband and I spent a part of our honeymoon at Vale Do Lobo. We really enjoyed the accommodations. We had a private apartment with a pool, which was lovely. We enjoyed the on-site restaurants, golf, and the pool area. We even went to the beach one day. The accommodations were great! They provided us with espresso for the Nespresso machine. Gave us a loaf of bread and a bottle of wine. We had everything we could need at the apartment."

"I liked the location of the property. It was modern and minimalist which I liked. Plenty of outside space to relax in either by the pool on a lounger (which you could find any time of the day) or on comfy outdoor sofas. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful we had an issue with our shower and they had someone fixing it within minutes. I found not much variety at breakfast and quite often hot food options were not very hot, the glasses for juice and water were really small which meant having to refill often. The staff at breakfast weren’t the friendliest either. We arrived at 3pm and had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready, check in was from 2pm so we had expected to get in our room straight away. The gave us an upgraded room which didn’t feel like an upgrade it was on the ground floor looking on to the river . However the terrace space was too small to fit the loungers, table and chairs . As there’s shrubs separating the rooms which is a nice touch but couldn’t sit out without moving the sunbeds out the way. I would ask for a higher floor room if going again. We were staying on a bed and breakfast basis you could also stay all inclusive, we had issues when ordering drinks from the bar as we had to pay for them sometimes we got the small all inclusive ones and sometimes they came in larger glasses when we asked for the larger size they said only did one size which wasn’t the case it depends who serves you. 3€ for a tiny coke didn’t feel value for money."

"Lovely hotel, rooms were a good size and immaculate. Rooftop bar and restaurant very nice. Breakfast was really good as well, lots of choice and very good. Swimming pool area was quite small so we didn’t really use pool. Gym was well equipped and clean. Hotel is in a central location."

"Loved my stay at the Magnolia. Solo traveller. Great pool area. Really friendly staff. Room a little tired but ideal for what I needed. I didn’t utilise the free bikes but if I were here for longer I would have! Close to restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. Would definitely come back!"

"This place was great. The staff were super friendly. The Hotel was perfect location to reach everything we wanted to reach. We had a rental car which opened us to explore what the local scene had to offer. Beaches, Night markets, Supermarkets, Late night local Ice creams shops, Festivals, the lot! Underground parking was excellent at keeping the car cool. Rental towels (10 euro Cash deposit each) were very convenient as we were travelling very light. The Aqua Park was great fun. Be sure to check your child's height. 140cm + gets you full access to everything. Sub 120cm excludes some of the rollercoasters and big slides. Sub 110cm excludes a lot of the slides. Only a few Kiddy slides left to explore. A quick 5 min walk to the park. Wrist bands get you straight it. You will have to leave your stuff unattended if you plan on moving around the park as a family. Or you can rent a locker for 10euro per day. But everyone leaves their stuff on the grassed area and there seems to be a level of trust amongst everyone. We left our towels, phones and flip flops and never had anything missing."
