"I don’t think it’s worth the money. People who aren’t guests take up the facilities, lack of service in the “bars”, no light lunch menu or pool service. Room turn down doesn’t take place until after 4pm often conflicting with the time you want to return to your room for the day. Breakfast is very good and staff are friendly but seem overstretched. Doesn’t live up to what it advertises I’m afraid. Would stay somewhere else."
"The staff was incredible in helping arrange activities and transportation. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The views were incredible. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. We had a great experience there and would highly recommend!"
"The Lido M is an older hotel, would say built in the 50’s, the rooms were a bit tight especially the bathroom, but overall well maintained and clean. The bed was a bit stiff but we slept well with the great sounds of the waves and the cool breezes of the ocean. It’s down at the bottom of the hill so getting to the Funivia or the city center is either a hike or a €20.00 cab ride.
The best and most impressive thing about this resort are the people that operate it. Ms. Mona Lisa, Mr. Francesco and the team worked hard to make sure our needs were met, questioned answered, and our stay complete. The staff did everything in the power to locate a piece of lost luggage in Rome, which btw, we were successful in locating once we got back to Rome……(thanks ML for your tireless effort)
It’s not a five star like some of the others in Taormina but you could not ask for a better staff. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning one day…"
"Fantastic location in that you can pop in and pop out of easily. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Great selection of breakfast.
A lovely addition would be a small kettle in the room."
"I highly recommend NH Collection in Taormina! Not only is it situated perfectly for touring the town by Foot. We had the best time walking the narrow streets with so many high-end stores and happy people. But… The highlight had to be the people that took care of us at this amazing hotel. Sarah at the front desk met all our expectations and beyond Carissa and Monica were always available. One more really special person I I have to mention… Angelo, who was always there, asking what he could do to help us. He helps with the bags and anything & everything else you could imagine. I felt like he was our best friend by the time we left. Just amazing. They all deserve five stars."
