"This property is superb in every respect. From reception to dining to the location of the property, you could not ask for a better traditional style place to stay. We had a lake side view which was beautiful. The traditional Japanese style dinner was a great decision. Staff is very, very helpful and courteous. Housekeeping kept the room immaculately clean I could have stayed one week or more "

"The location was a very nice 23 minute walk from the station, we were not offered breakfast but Lawson is around the corner. The focus was to see Mt Fuji so everything else didn’t matter. Would stay here again"

"Pretty great view of Mt Fuji from the Fuji-view room. Helpful staff and bike rental. Only downside (although a very small issue) was the entire bathroom moves a little bit, not too much, but enough to feel a little off balanced"

"Great stay at Toyoko Inn - there were shuttle bus from Kawaguchiko station to the hotel which was really convenient. Check in was smooth and the room was great too. Was able to see mt Fuji from my room too. Daily breakfast was delicious too - guests had 2 options (either Japanese or Western breakfast) to choose from. There were also some restaurants and convenient shops nearby. Overall would recommend a stay here!"

"The staff were wonderful and gave amazing restaurant recommendations with a ready map of their locations. Room was very nice, having both a more traditional Japanese side and a more western standard size, although i do wish the beds could have been pushed together"
