"This hotel is under renovation. The pool was drained. You could go next door to the Aloft and use their pool. It was crowded and is small, but did the job. The restaurant bar they spoke of had a wood plywood piece of wood as the bar. The hallways had ironing boards and miscellaneous furniture in it. The carpet is coming up. The rooms are old. Walls just drywall. This definitely was not the atmosphere we were looking for, we checked out a day early. The staff was very helpful and kind. "

"Thank you for being kind while I was so upset. I hate that I have to do this at all because walking through such a beautiful hotel in the lobby made me think the rest of the hotel would be as nice but looks were so deceiving. Every single employee was nice and helpful. Not that kind of complaint. But I paid money to walk away in more pain from sleeping here. Complaints: Shower disgusting No sanitary proof on toilet and it was wet when we got here. Bed frame must be broken because it leans to the headboard to the point where the pillows had to be used to prop us up to flat. I'm a disabled a nice soft bed as promised would have been amazing. The room smells like an old dusty cabin. It was so bad I had to spray my perfume and oops I didn't notice the firearm above my head. It went off for a moment only. The elevater buttons don't stay down. It will stop then not open door and start again with you still on it. The door key did not work when we came back with coffee this morning. It was 9:25am. Not after check out. My service dogs were inside the room. Dog walking area is ROCKS! Chose dog friendly to have a spot for my service dogs to potty. But nope have to cross the street. Phone in hallway did not work when we needed help. "

"I got the room without kitchen although I booked the one with kitchen, after I pointed out to the staff, he made the change right away, the breakfast is much better than the conventional with various foods to choose. The location is not far from airport also close to downtown. "

"Free parking was great, location great, staff great. Event though the overall condition of the rooms could be better, overall my wife and I have no complaints. We enjoyed our 5 night stay. Here's one helpful piece of advice, add more chairs to be able to sit on the balcony. "

"Palihouse location is amazing, middle of Hyde Park with shopping and restaurants all around. Rooms are clean and nice, very cute ambiance. However my husband didn’t enjoy the basic cable, no streaming options, ESPN or golf channel. "
