"This property would get 3 stars if it were advertised accurately. We expected a luxury 2-bed, 2-bath flat with onsite parking and super-fast Wi-Fi for remote work. Instead, we got an average apartment with terrible Wi-Fi and no parking.Management was a mixed bag. The person was helpful on Friday, using WhatsApp (since their phone lines were down) to resolve check-in issues after our long drive so we didn't have to go home. "We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment and overall had a really enjoyable and relaxing stay. The views across the golf course were beautiful and it really is somewhere you can unwind and slow down. Looking out over the open landscape was incredibly peaceful. My main disappointment was the cleaning. The communal area leading to the apartments didn't appear to have been cleaned when we arrived. I deliberately waited a couple of days to see if it would be attended to, but by the third day the same debris was still there, so I raised it with reception. The reception manager told me the communal areas were cleaned every day, but I pointed out that this clearly hadn't happened in our area. I felt it would have been better simply to acknowledge that it had been missed. To their credit, they reacted quickly and the area was cleaned shortly afterwards, for which I thanked them. I also noticed when using the cooker extractor that the buttons were greasy and sticky, suggesting they had not been thoroughly cleaned for some time. We had a small issue with the curtain rail too, but maintenance responded promptly and politely. Overall, we had a lovely, relaxing stay, but I do think management needs to pay closer attention to cleaning and carry out more thorough checks. First impressions count, and these relatively small details can make a significant difference to a guest's overall experience."

Easthampstead Park

"Second stay at Easthampstead & unfortunately not as excellent as my first. Room 304 was lovely but a fair bit smaller than room 301 out in the Hepburn House. Super comfy beds though, although it didn't have a fridge available or sufficient towels. Other downside was that we hoped being out of the main hotel this would be much quieter however we were awoken loudly 6.30-7am as the downstairs gym had a class which sounded like a very loud nightclub & the bass woke us up, which was very disappointing. Also on this stay we ordered room service, which was quick to come & food was nice but basics like condiments salt/pepper/ketchup never arrived. Also, breakfast buffet was lovely & kitchen staff went above & beyond even making porridge. Waitress staff for room service & breakfast were not all that friendly, not too happy to provide a second cup of coffee etc & the tables were unclean with hairs in the sugar sachet bowl. Shout out to the receptionist team though who were super friendly, welcoming & helpful."

"Lovely stay for my birthday food was great rooms were lovely staff were friendly only a couple of minor things we got back late and the car park was full managed to get the last space thankfully but maybe bare that in mind, then our neighbours were up till 4 am they weren’t being extra loud but we could hear them (not hotels fault) and the lastly we put the “refresh room” sign on our door and when we got back from day out it hadn’t been done so had to go to reception to ask for more tea and coffee for room"
