"The view from the property overlooking the sea was beautiful and phenomenal. The room space was sufficient and clean. What I didn’t like was the fact that to get there, the drive up to the house was very steep and if you don’t know how to handle the drive, it’s problematic. The second thing I didn’t like was that while the property boasted about having a pool, it was only when me and my family arrived we were informed that the pool wasn’t working due to not filtering properly. "I booked the hotel reading the reviews both good and bad and not sure what to expect. However, our experience was perfect. We stayed in room 30 and it was clean. The water pressure was great, the air-conditioning and everything worked fine. We had breakfast twice there and it was delicious. The facilities were clean and welcoming and picturesque. We Absolutely loved the property. It was well kept, pool was clean and the property is close to many food options and attractions. We had a perfect time and will definitely be back! The stone on the floors from the pictures look textured as if you could feel the stones on your feet Howe er it’s a completely smooth surface. It feels like flat tile with no grooves that was a nice touch."

"Room was clean, staff was very helpful and friendly, location was great. The direction instructions to get to the location makes a lot of sense as long as you are paying attention to every detail. I love the seclusion away from commotion. The view was beautiful up on the hill. I will be staying here again in the near future, God-willing."

"Geejam was a breath of fresh air after cancelling & leaving another property in Portland early & concluding our vacation here. The staff was very kind & hospitable. We definitely enjoyed the free breakfast daily & the food was good. We had a good time at dinner as well & drinks were made well. My only gripe is the gap under the doors of the rooms, which allowed stink bugs to crawl in nightly. That has to be addressed a.s.a.p.! No one enjoys creepy crawly things in their rooms & potentially in their bed. My boyfriend's family also rented one of the villas for the week, Panorama, which was a lovely experience as a large group gathering together. Overall a good experience & if visiting Portland again, we would definitely stay at the Geejam again."

"Always a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and the resort is eclectic and filled with African Art. My children really loved the infinity pool with the view and the beach area. We love that the Queen of Sheba as it has so much space to easily accommodate a big group. The property is quiet and peaceful. You definitely need to be fit to be able to move around the property. I would definitely recommend for families with children, etc. this is our 2nd time residing here and it has always been great experience"

"The location and the grounds are beautiful. The garden area with a view of the island and san san beach is gorgeous. The staff are very friendly and helpful, there weren't many guests there as its more off season when we went. The breakfast is delicious and the driver contact they gave us was great and took us everywhere we needed to go whenever we needed. The villas are spacious and have everything you need. If you want to stay somewhere more in the heart of Jamaica I would highly recommend staying here."
