"Can't beat the view over the lake at sunset. Room was clean and comfortable although I noticed an odd slightly chemical smell upon entry, but I'm pretty sensitive to smells and it wasn't noticeable after a short while, maybe just cleaning products."

"We would definitely book here again. Hotel is dated, however very clean. Room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There were numerous restaurants within walking distance. Location was perfect for our trip to the Agawa Canyon."

"Couldn't ask for more. We've stayed at about a dozen different cottages in northern Ontario and Lakeside Cottages in Bruce Mines is the best. The beds are comfy, the price is reasonable, the cottage comes fully stocked (no upcharge for bedsheets like some places!!!), the kitchen is full and also stocked (salt and pepper and oil and coffee!!!), the cottages are clean and pretty, the view is amazing, the firewood is onsite and included (not $20 for a tiny bundle like some places...), reasonable canoe rentals, beautiful lawn and playground for the kids, and the hosts are so nice, great at communication! This is our second year visiting and we WILL be back!"
