Pretty good location though, because it was on the main road between the train station and the incredibly wonderful old parts city, a good deal of homeless hanging around that area. Wonderfully close though to the old town, which is one of the most beautiful in Germany and really really took us by surprise with how cute and well maintained it was.

Beautiful hotel conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and train station. Loved our stay. Staff for the most part were very nice. Only complaint is that breakfast was not included and very expensive. We did not eat there.

Best Hotel in Freiburg

The best hotel we stayed at this time around. Centrally located, friendly staff, 24/7 coffee and tea in the lounge opposite the reception desk. Room darkening shade and A/C made for a great sleep with no hint of noise from the street. Will definitely stay here again if my travels bring me back to Freiburg.

This is a lovely hotel. I was travelling solo and booked a room with a queen size bed rather than a single. It was spacious amd comfortable with windows that opened as well as air con. Excellent location both for arrival at the train station as well as exploring Freiburg. And do pop up to the solar roof garden to see how the hotel really is Green.
