Had problems with road noise with room the first night but the staff changed our room for the following two nights. Staff even asked in morning when they were cleaning if we wanted more towels. They have excellent breakfast in the morning, good coffee. They care about upkeep of the building for I saw they were upgrading rooms with new paint etc,

Bathroom was small, there’s nothing in the shower to hold things like soap or shampoo, there needs to better lighting in the center of the room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The room I eventually got on the second floor was great. The room I originally had on the first floor smelled very musty and the smell did not go away after leaving the AC on while out for dinner. However, the front desk was great about changing my room to the second floor. Be aware that there is no elevator, so if you’re in a wheelchair or can’t use the stairs for some reason you will not be able to change rooms.

We have stayed at this property multiple times and were impressed by the friendly and hospitable atmosphere. It is also very conveniently located and there are neighborhoods near by that are good for walking.
