We stayed in a spacious villa that offered both comfort and charm—an ideal setting for relaxation. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, always going the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. One of the highlights was the food. The pizza was some of the best we've ever had, and the overall dining experience was fantastic, especially when paired with Il Borro’s impressive selection of wines. The wine tour was both informative and enjoyable, giving us a deeper appreciation for the estate’s rich winemaking heritage. The spa experience was another standout—peaceful, professional, and just what we needed to unwind. Every aspect of our stay felt carefully curated and indulgent. We’re already planning to return, hopefully for a longer stay next time. Il Borro is a true gem in the heart of Tuscany, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and luxurious escape. "A Fascinating and perhaps haunted hotel off the beaten track. You will drive through the beautiful mountains to get there and it’s located in the shadow of an ancient Abby. The staff is lovely, the food at the in-house restaurant is great. And definitely get a bottle of the house red (it’s amazing). You will not be sorry you made this journey. "

"We had a great stay in this hotel and are returning clients. The location is peaceful. The facilities of the pool ( indoor and outdoor) are great. When it rained the indoor pool was useful. The level of service and quality of food in the restaurant was great. We brought our dog and they even had a separate quiet restaurant area for those with dogs which we used both evenings. Overall a great stay, we will return. "
