Fraser Coast hotel rooms a the Independent

"Accommodation was not as advertised. Advertised as studio cabin with picture of cabin and interior with beautiful furnishings however upon arrival it was a motel style room with older furnishings. Have pictures to show the difference and happy to provide to Expedia as what you’re advertising is not what the accommodation is. Have no complaints about Ingenia or staff just want to warn others that the pictures are not what the accommodation are. We were really disappointed to arrive at the accommodation after hours and find that it was absolutely not what was advertised. "

"Beautiful place! The only negative was we expected different options of tours to lakes, etc but the only option to see the rest of the island was by a day tour that was very overpriced."

"Rooms were spacious & clean, no aircon in 3rd bedroom, and whilst we had the ocean view we paid for was not nice sitting on the verandah as its so hot, 2 compressors blowing hot air and even when you turn them off to sit outside its like a cement hot box that traps the hot air. Shame "

"Lovely high quality mattress and bedding. Rainfall shower - very lush. Comfy bed. Very quiet location."

"It was freshly painted etc where i was... it would be nice if they cleaned the outdoor area off the rooms so we can enjoy it with bird poo everywhere. I brought a broom and wipes to clean it. The staff are so good, food is delicious. This is my place i stay every time i pop up to Fraser Coast. "
