"I've stayed at this Marriott before, and the conditions were much better. In terms of location, you cannot beat it if you're visiting a student at the UofA campus. However, this time, a nearby bar was hosting a "Tequila Sunrise." Since the hotel's windows and walls were quite thin, we were up all night due to the noise and music. The room's alarm was not turned off, so although I was up, that went off at 6 am (definitely check the alarm clock when you get to your room). The housekeeping staff also did not leave an ample supply of coffee (literally one regular coffee bag/cup), so if you plan to have a coffee in the morning, request enough products to accommodate your group."

"Very good boutique style hotel a good restaurant/ bar and pool. Good location. Excellent breakfast though not included. My only disappointment was that there was no desk with chair in the room. I used a chair from the room’s balcony but I really missed having a desk and proper computer style adjustable chair which is typically standard in most hotels. One minor issue was on day of checkout - the room key would not open the door at 10:30am."

"We stayed in a casita and loved the layout and that we had our own patio looking into a hedgerow full of songbirds. We also like it was away from the busy road out front. Their breakfast and coffee were better than what are offered by other chains these days."

"Pulling in you think 1950's motel and you are not sure what to think of the place. The office staff was nice and it was super easy to check in. We entered the room and it was really nice. Very clean, comfortable beds and really nice pillows. The air conditioner worked great as well. They also provided a continental breakfast in the morning. This was a great stay for the price and location to UofA. We will stay here again. "
