AC was broken in the first room, we were then moved to another room after a few phone calls and the staff trying to fix it, in the next room AC was great but unfortunately the door lock was broken, The staff are very friendly, helpful, Damir is wonderful, he is very thorough, knowledgeable and goes above and beyond!! The night I was leaving though, someone by the name Mario was helping me and I found him to be very rude - he basically said ‘I printed your invoice, what more do you want when I was trying to confirm when my deposit will be refunded. Area is not central - seems ok but I wasn’t feeling very comfortable walking alone in the evening, hence made sure I’m back before dark. The hotel is a few steps away by subway. For dining, the food in the hotel was the best bet quality wise - not much around that area.

We only stayed here overnight after a long day of traveling before picking up our rental car the next morning. We walked down the street to another hotel restaurant as it appeared others close by were closed. All in all, the check in was smooth, the room was clean and the hotel itself was in a safe part of town. Would stay there again if in the area, although the breakfast was quite expensive so we did not eat there the next morning.

Very slow front desk

Check-in and check-out was very slow. There was only 1 person during check-out, and it was 10:20 am morning. During check-in front desk receptionist was not friendly.

Good idea, badly executed

The rooms in general are very good BUT a lot is missed in the details/service. Room temperature is unstable, lights blink, lots of small things in the room which you are used to in 4* are missing. Reception is very bad, slow checkin, slow checkout, unable to give invoice, no pickup of phone. Also the moving door had an issue an many people walked against it as it suddenly stops midway. Only very good thing are the fast elevators.

There are some aspects that I just couldn't stand: 1 - during my stay I spent one of the afternoons in the hotel resting, during the afternoon they came in 2 times to ask me if I wanted room service. It makes me think that the other afternoons I was not there it is normal to enter guest rooms for no reason. 2 - on the check-in information they write that you have to present the credit card used to make the purchase, omitting that you have to pay 50€ deposit per night compulsorily with it. (Cash not accepted). Why not write that down? Anyway, it's been more than 24 hours since I checked out and I still haven't been reimbursed. I don't understand where the problem is and why they have to freeze funds for me. Despite this the hotel staff was very kind. The administrative part could be clearer on these issues.

Bad Service, rookie mistakes on every level. - invoice wrong - parking ticket wrong, had to go back to service desks because calling / service number wouldn’t work - although I paid 86 for two night parking - employees at spa don’t understand German nor English - asked twice if spa rope is in the room, of course it wasn’t, then I got one, but was super duper small and no shoes. - all the small details just wouldn’t add up / took me 25 minutes to check in, rude behavior, non-professional, Nice interior, nice surroundings but staff is just not keeping it up
