UPtown Downtown was fantastic

Wonderful check & check out experience with welcoming Silvio at reception, very helpful with tips for Frankfurt travel and sights. The lovely couple running the breakfast buffet were outstanding and always had the most beautiful breakfast set up for the hotel, we looked forward to it every morning. Thank you all for making our stay a positive experience.

Of course you can't expect a high classl 4 star hotel, but absolutely worth it for the price. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Furnishing and equipment was ok with nice ambient lighting. Only the refrigerator was not working. Stuff was friendly and it's super close to central station. Great for a short stay.

Broken light, dirty floor, not hot shower made our travel very hard. Noisy at night and unable to sleep. Smell owful time to time and the room was awkward to me. I understand that terrible environment around the hotel is not changble but these defect was totally not suitable for four stars hotel. Only good point was close enough to train station.

It is close to train station, that is a plus but it is in the heart of one of the most drug infested, and unclean Red Light districts. That i have seen in Europe.

arrived late after 3 hour train delay & pouring with rain & shocked at surroundings. at first I thought hotel closed & boarded up with unsavoury characters sheltering in alcoves but eventually found front door. check in strange as I normally provide a preprinted label but receptionist insisted I complete the form in handwriting (explaining “you’ve probably noticed it’s a difficult area & I need your handwriting “!). he explained “lift out of action as you’ve been notified” - which I hadn’t- so at age 81 I had to drag suitcases to THIRD floor . I noticed floors on first and second floors in poor repair. this is more like a young people’s hostel than a hotel. However breakfast was of exceptional quality- don’t recommend

This hotel is in the middle of the red light district. The area surrounding this hotel is extremely unsafe, and the noises throughout the night were terrifying. We had a reservation for two nights and left after the first. Even in the morning when we tried to leave, the scene outside was very concerning.Do not stay here.

It was so bad staying ever, the elevator wasn’t working at the first day, the room door’s cannot be opened, shower holder broken, The shower basin is clogged and dirty water floats out of the toilet . I asked to move for a room with balcony but it wasn’t. Not confortable and make you stressed all the time

Sadly disappointed. Really seedy area surrounding the hotel, with many sex shops and casinos. Restaurants nearby had mediocre looking menus and were largely empty. Lots of men loitering in the area smoking and drinking. Onsite restaurant was closed. Gym was disgusting with sauna water pitcher with slime growing on top. Room key wouldn’t work for the door and front desk wouldn’t fix it or move us - just offered to let us in with the master key when we needed it.

Only positive aspect was the cleanliness of the room. Otherwise it was a horrible experience. World’s most unprofessional staff and they were highly rude especially the guy in the breakfast room, who treated us like prisoners! Two huge scams: 1. we booked the hotel with breakfast included and they still made us pay for breakfast. 2. Picked this hotel because they had own parking but it tuns out they don’t and they direct us to an ordinary public parking where we had to carry our luggages to/from

friendly staff but very poor quality in a dodgy

clean and comfortable beds. Bathrooms had problems, not looking fresh and clean, it was stop in the drain. we even asked to change our room and have the 2nd room fixed which the staff were very friendly and changed our room. but the safe problem in the sink and shower drain. water was piling up instead of flowing away. poor wifi connection. very poor room ventilations it got warm and damp and not fresh at all. considering such a dodgy polluted area it was located, it was out of question to open a window. the whole hotel was smelling strong parfym i guess to hide any ventilation problems. bedrooms were clean beside the darkness and not having any window out. If you are looking for a cheap and a short walk to central train staion then this is a good choice. but if you are looking for quality, view, enjoying the area do not book. i should mention that one of the problems is the streets around. droggers, gangsters, very airpolluted and ugly streets. i had no idea that the streets very close to central station are such disasterous areas. i wasin need of a hotel cery close to train station and got chocked of these areas/streets. if you can have 10-15min walk from the central train station then go for other options

We checked in which was very quick. Got to the room and we found a hole in the wall, dead bug on the floor, holes in the floor and cigarette burns on the bathroom vanity.
