We really like this hotel, well located, the food was good, staff of the restaurants were very attentive, the kids club is a plus!!! The only comment I would say is that the shower of the room was very small a little bit uncomfortable… but I will choose this hotel again for sure..

The resort is so beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. Follow their instagram page to see the videos of all the activities they have for the guests. Definitely something to do for the whole family. I will recommend the resort to my friends and family.

Our 2nd stay was great, too!

Really enjoyed the improved pool bar menu this year! This is a great location to see both the Brazil and Argentina parks for the Iguaçu waterfalls. It's also easy to get to from the airport (Uber works well here).

Great place to stay with kids due to the waterpark and other activities. Not walkable to the town, nor to the falls but close. Very close to the bird sanctuary.

We stayed at Vivaz Cataratas for four nights in July 2026 as a family of four, with two children around age 10. Overall, the stay was decent, but the property did not live up to its price point. The location is convenient: about 10 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes from central Foz do Iguaçu, and roughly 30 minutes from the falls, depending on traffic. The grounds are attractive, and the indoor and outdoor pool areas were highlights. Families should know that the water park is closed from May through September, so it was unavailable during our July stay. The children’s activities were not explained at check-in, and the check-in staff came across as alternately rude and overly obsequious rather than genuinely welcoming. The rooms feel dated, cramped, and poorly designed for a family. The bathroom was especially small and not well maintained. At this price point, we expected more storage and a proper seating area. The doors provided almost no soundproofing, and running and screaming children in the hallway made the room very noisy. Breakfast was quite poor, and the room-service food was similarly disappointing. While the hotel has a good location and pleasant pool areas, the dated rooms, noise, food, service, and limited amenities made the stay feel overpriced. We would not recommend this property to friends or family.

The hotel was just ok. It's great if you are with your family and need a middle of the road hotel. I was highly annoyed by the idea that I had to pay extra to use the jacuzzi. The buffet dinner and breakfast options were good. This hotel is a very economic option. I wish I had researched more before staying at the hotel.
