"Exceeded expectations. Great hotel that is perfectly located in downtown Detroit. Walking distance to Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, and Ford Field. Also Detroit Opera House, Fillmore, and Fox. Room was awesome. Breakfast in Rise is very good. The Lone Goat pub is attached and awesome. Lots of shops, cocktail bars, etc in the immediate area. Definitely will go back."

"Our stay at The Atheneum exceeded expectations. Our Deluxe Suite King room was squeaky clean, and larger than we expected. The bathtub was enormous and great for soaking after a long day. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a conference at Huntington Place, and it was easy to walk there each day. We really appreciated the staff accommodating a late check-out. The windows could have been cleaner but there was a blizzard going on during our stay. So hopefully that was the only reason for that. Location was perfect to enjoy the city. Parking was across the street in a parking garage with in/out availability. The communication was also great. We will definitely return the next time we are traveling to the city."
