Misty Peaks was lovely and photos really don't do it justice. Allanah and her aunt and father made our experience much more personal and during breakfast one morning we were enlightened as to the joys of an overnight trip on Doubtful Sound by some Aucklanders on holiday. Allanah worked her lovely tail off cleaning and cooking and still made time to recommend eating establishments in the area as well as the best helicopter adventure firms. Oh, and also the best place to get a view of Mt. Cook (which was quite close-by). We had many lovely stays during our monthlong New Zealand adventure and Misty Peaks was one of our favorites. Highly recommended.
Wonderful B&B. The owners could not have been nicer or friendlier.
Our room was very new and in perfect condition.
Very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious.
This is a really comfy property and we were made to feel very welcome. The weather was poor but the log burner and complementary glass of wine and nibbles early evening was much appreciated. Breakfast was tasty and filling.
A great place to stay for two nights on our way up north from Queenstown to the Abel Tasman National Park and visit the Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers. It was a good decision to stay at Fox Glacier where it was close to the viewpoint of Fox Glacier and mount Hood from Lake Matheson. An easy drive (30 min) yo Franz Josef Glacier and a very good valley walk to the view of the Glacier. The room was modern with very comfortable bed and a warm bathroom. Both were greatly appreciated after a long drive. The warm bathroom floor was an added bonus. Arrived late and Alanah was gracious and accommodating, and left the front door and our room door open for us. The breakfast was superb. Great suggestions for places to visit and hikes to do from Alanah. Thank you for being a superb host. Highly recommended.
Great view. Loved the breakfast. Staff was there on sight for long hours and very helpful. Felt like home.

A convivial atmosphere, lounge area and dining. Design faults in rooms let this property down.
Noisy unenclosed bar fridge made sleeping difficult. Paper thin internal walls meant you could hear neighbour's conversations. The USB points was a good addition but not placing them bedside made them less useful.
A lovely helpful host. OK
Great place to stay! Alanna was a wonderful host. She made sure we had everything we needed and prepared a nice breakfast for us. She also took the time to orient us to the area and gave us tips on hiking and restaurants in the area.
Our room was large, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The common area were also very nice.
B&B was cozy and clean and the hostess personable. The room was fine and the living room was very nice, especially if you have to wait it out with the weather (there is not much to do in Fox Glacier if the weather gods are not with you). Some helicopters will take off and land nearby if weather is good.

Very nice place and friendly. Just the sign without light at night, difficult to find.
We had a great time at Misty Peaks. The only weakness was breakfast, which was fine but not outstanding. The location is fantastic and we were made very welcome.
Alana was very friendly and helpful with all the local places to visit and value for money places to eat. The accommodation was 5 star we could not fault Misty Peaks or the staff.
Great B&B - and Allanah worked with my kids to provide a birthday surprise for me. All of her recommendations were excellent and the room was lovely. Great time visiting with the other guests over wine and cheese. Sorry that we had to leave before breakfast!
