"We stayed 2 nights, mom and teen daughter. Stayed in a queen cabin. First the goods - the air conditioning on our cabin was exceptional and bed super comfy. We slept well in the heat. The staff are ALL very friendly and helpful. Pool was perfect temperature for a dip in the heat. They had poolside drink service too. Honestly, I can’t say enough about the very good and friendly service. Location is fantastic, very close to Blois. You need a car Points to consider - the wifi in our cabin was practically non-existent. If you have to work here, plan to rely on cell service. As others have mentioned, the shower is poorly designed and if you aren’t very careful, water will stream everywhere. I noticed the floor is warped in several places and I expect it’s from sitting water from shower. Breakfast was not excellent. Reminded me more of a Holiday Inn Express than a beautiful French countryside hotel. Maybe my expectations were too high. We ate at the restaurant one evening. We enjoyed it, staff very accommodating."

"The property is beautiful!! Very picturesque, a gorgeous chateau from the 14 hundreds with beautiful grounds. You wake up to a very relaxing view of field with horses. The pool was great for a relaxing afternoon in the summer heat. The access to the pool is through a charming secret cave. The antiquity of the place has its charms but also has it's faults. While the place went through renovations, they should replace the old carpet in the room and the old vinyl floor in the bathroom. They could also use higher quality bed linen (the bed linen was the quality of a very cheap AirBnB) , to give the place the final touch of finesse and luxury."

"Parking was really easy and the breakfast buffet is great. It includes protein (ham, cheese, cold cuts, eggs), croissants, crepes, and cakes. The best of French and Northern European breakfasts! The pool is really great - the water temperature was very comfortable. The staff was friendly. My wife and I had a great time."
