Hotels near Fort Yellowstone Historic District

"This is the only hotel in Gardiner I would consider staying at. It is family owned and the staff is great. The property is immaculate and there is hot coffee available 24/7. There is a laundry room available for guests and everything you need is close by, ie., grocery, gas, restaurants, etc. We left Gardiner to go to Jackson and were so disappointed with our hotel there that we packed up and went back to Yellowstone Village Inn knowing how good it was. Thanks Josh, Houston and all of the staff at YVI. We will be back. "

"Off-street parking; good season price for stocked kitchenette, sofa & dining seating, private bedroom and bath, plus outdoor seating overlooking the river. Perfect for day trips into Yellowstone. If you’re over 6’ tall, the ceiling height & shower will be low. "

"We were on the third floor and there is no elevator. We had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs which was difficult because we are older. We won’t be staying there again."

"Kitchen was great, king size bed in bedroom was great. Only issue was pull out bed which was not useable, the mattress was so thin it felt like sitting on a fence rail, our third guest slept on the couch instead. Great for a couple."
