Hyatt House Destin

10/10 Excellent

"I was very pleased with my stay. The front desk staff were helpful.and friendly. The rooms were clean. I stayed in a suite with a mini kitchen so I did not need to purchase my meals from the hotel. The beach, the grocery stores, and other popular stores are within walking distance. However, I drove."

Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa

8/10 Good

"Overall, the resort is a beautiful property. ‘Have vacationed at this resort several times. ‘Stayed in Emerald Tower this time with Westward view; sunsets were beautiful! Room interior was nice but nothing exceptional. Mattress was well past its prime. Dined in the Sandcastles restaurant. Staff attention was fine; Helen was delightful. Breakfasts were somewhat disappointing. Two of the mornings, there were no staff to cook make-to-order items and the wait staff seemed to assume diners prefer the buffet; my wife and I don’t. Breakfast menu selections were okay but not great. Evening meal menu was resort casual. Can’t comment on the Seagar’s restaurant."

Village Inn Destin

10/10 Excellent

"I had family that stayed at other places costing seven times what this did. They had complaints, I did not. My room was large, clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities that you might expect including, TV, microwave, mini-fridge, king sized bed, tub/shower. Full length mirror, sofa, iron and board, hairdryer. They even offer a complete breakfast and swimming pool. Nope. It is not all new. It is still very nice and I would gladly stay again!"

Wavecrest Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"After reading some negative reviews, we were wondering if we had made a wrong choice. Arriving there , the parking area was clean and neat, luggage carts close to the elevator. The clerk at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Will plan to return there on our next trip. I think some people just want to complain based on the review we read before arriving."
