Great beachfront view. Friendly staff. Dishwasher was not working and had dirty dishes in it when we arrived. One of the bathroom sinks had a drain issue. We arrived on a Saturday so nothing was done until the beginning of the week. MAJOR construction going on in the unit right above us. Monday-Friday 9-5 the whole week we were. there. No offer to move us was made. Based on that, I would not stay there again. You just don’t put anyone in a unit with construction going on in the unit directly above!

The condo had a terrific Gulf of Mexico view with a short walk to the beach. There was a very adequate supply of linens and towels (including beach towels). Modern washer/dryer with huge capacity. Kitchen was outfitted very well. Beach chairs and umbrellas available. Pool area had padded chaises and chairs with a shaded seating area with bathrooms facilities. We even had local iguanas for company. Overall, I would recommend Pelicans Roost for anyone.

The room that we stayed in had mold in every vent and room! The manager was on vacation and I still have yet to hear from them. I was there for my wedding my whole family got sick. our room was gross! DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT!

Location is ideal, seeing the ocean while having coffee in the morning is my dream. There were chairs and beach umbrellas provided, and it was such a short walk to the sand that there was no need to pack up a large bag of food or drinks ... just came and went as we pleased.

The condo we stayed in was wonderful. It was clean, however there were some stains on some of the living room furniture, and the carpet has seen better days, but it was still clean. Access to the beach was easy and there were always plenty of chairs, umbrellas, and toys for the kids!

Pelicans Roost is fantastic!

The location and the condo were perfect. The view is spectacular. The condo was very clean and decorated with modern furnishings. The manager was extremely accommodating. We had a great trip and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Pelicans Roost.

Great Location, Quiet and Comfy.

We enjoyed our stay at Pelicans Roost. Great views of the ocean from the living room and bedroom. The balcony is screened in so you can leave the door open to get fresh air and hear the waves. The beds were very comfortable. Pool was fun. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Sanibel.

The property manager was very helpful in providing my family the most appropriate room for my family size. The condo was a little dated but it was perfect. A full kitchen with all needed items. Two gas BBQ grills were located in the parking lot by the pool to use. We stayed in a two bedroom and two bath unit. The unit also had a pull out couch. There were tvs in each room and a small book collection for reading. Portable beach chairs and umbrellas were located at the beginning of the beach path to use as needed. The property is about a 50 yard walk to the water. This is a great location with all amenities included. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Place to Stay

This was our first time and it will not be our last! Pelicans Roost was simply amazing! They had everything we needed and more. Board games, more towels than we would ever use, books, a washer/dryer, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. It has it's own beach access and there are sea shells EVERYWHERE! It was a 7 1/2 hour drive and it was so worth it! Exceeded our expectations and we will stay there again!

Great family place in Sanibel!!

Loved this place!! The apartment was very well equipped, easy access to the beach and we didn't have to bring our chairs!! I highly recommend it and would definitely make reservations again!!
