"The Lani Kai looks great after hurricane repairs. The grounds in back, the pool area, and redesigned bars on the ground level look great. Rooms were nice and clean and the staff everywhere were very attentive and accommodating. Jayne in the Sun Deck and Island View restaurant is terrific. She works 14 hour days by choice waiting tables during the day and bartending at night and always has a smile on her face. Just a super friendly person. Great jib Lani Kai! Can’t wait til next time."
"We enjoyed our stay! Very convenient location, right on the water, clean with recently renovated rooms. We went for a girls weekend and loved it! The only thing I can’t rave about was they had very poor water pressure, not sure if it was because we were on an end unit, but it was a trickle out of the shower head which can be a little difficult if you have a lot of hair, no hairdryer in room, and wish they had a full sized mirror in the room. Regardless I would definitely recommend staying there! It’s a beautiful property!"
"AMAZING!!!! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was always available. Food-amazing. It is on the high price side, but you get tons of food if you walk-away hungry that is on you. Beach was great, you get 2 chairs with your stay, bar service available for delivery. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Our flight landed at 10:00am and we ubered to hotel by 11am, valet took us upstairs with our bags. Room wasn't ready which we didn't expect it to be, they took are bags to storage, gave us temp wristbands so you could start enjoying your stay. You do have to cross the street for the pool and beach, you get a wristband to show you are a guest. We were only there Friday-Monday am but had the best time. Lots of music, DJ,s, live bands. The area is still recovering from the hurricane but it was still so much fun for these JB fans. We didn't have a car but looks like they have plenty of parking available underground. We will stay at other Margaritaville resorts in our future travels. Thanks for all the fun! "
"We are very happy with our experience! The purpose of our trip to fort myers was to go shelling and this resort had so many amazing treasures right on the resort beach. It’s a quiet area, but still close to shops and restaurants(10-15min walk down the beach). The room was very comfortable and perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen is stocked, however, next time I’d bring along a pot and pan from home for a better quality of cookware material. Everything was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The beach is amazing, the pool is perfect and warm. We already discussed booking again as we pulled out of the parking lot after checkout. We’ll be back!
-I do think it might be helpful to have a basic first aid kit in the room. The beach is covered in sharp broken shells and we did have 2 minor cuts to tend to and it would have been helpful to have some bandages in the room as I wouldn’t typically think to pack first aid.
-it might also be helpful to have a simple cordless vacuum in the rooms to help stay on top of the sand that’s tracked in.
-it should be noted that traffic is pretty crazy if you need to leave or come back to fort myers beach on the weekend between 10-5. There’s only one road in and out.
Not complaints, just suggestions/notes. We have no complaints overall. Loved it! "
"Older Fort Myers hotel , directly on the beach , with close access to restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. Second time at this hotel once before hurricane , area still rebuilding. Hotel very comfortable with all amenities you need with convenience of area. Will stay again. "
