Hotels near Fort Massac State Park

"Hotel was overbooked and we were placed in the last room available when we arrived around 8 PM. Others with reservations arriving after us were told there were no rooms. We ended up leaving due to a horrible smell coming from the bathroom drains that hit us when we opened the door, told no maintenance person on duty, and no one really seemed concerned. I kind of have a feeling this is a known issue and they were just hoping we would take the room since it was the last one available. It made for a very long road trip with no sleep. "

"Plenty of shopping nearby. No TV remote in room & clerk wasn’t able to find one; which was ok since I needed to rest"

"The smell hits you as soon as you walk in and only gets worse once you reach the room. The shower doesn’t drain at all, making it unusable, and the overall cleanliness was so poor that none of us felt comfortable even getting under the covers."

"The bed was very comfortable, better yet, the pillows were superb! The breakfast was surprisingly decent. It’s the most expensive hotel in that area, but it was worth the money. Highly recommend."
